I cannot say enough about how superb this place was. Everything was absolutely perfect and ideal for a family with young children. Hosting was absolutely spot on and very accommodating.

Amazing! I have no other words! Everything was perfect! The house is close to the beach (2 min walk). The house is clean, functional, with gifts for the children. Small touches everywhere. Anything to go to the beach. (Games, chairs, towels) We felt at home. My kids were delighted. We can't wait to come back.
Having travelled a lot in the world I have a host as amazing as Maria's family. She was available, thoughtful. I've traveled a lot, and I found this house is really good in all. We'll be back for sure

Enjoy your next vacation in our beautifully restored historic log home in the heart of Tiny Township. We are located steps away from the crystal-clear water of sandy Balm Beach.
We have everything you need to love your stay.
Our family friendly four season home offers something for everyone. Children will enjoy their own play area with surprise welcome gifts, plenty of games, books and arts and crafts. We also offer an assortment of small exercise equipment for stretching, relaxing and meditating. Two workspaces allow you to work from home if necessary. Our home is also equipped with a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis purification system, central air conditioning, water softener, washer and dryer, all for your comfort and convenience.
Plenty of amenities are located along the beach front area: restaurants, an arcade, convenience store, LCBO, ice cream, beach equipment rentals, tennis courts and a park with play equipment. Mini golf and go-carts are a short walking distance away. Midland is just a 10 minute drive where you can find anything else you might need.
Enjoy your time outdoors under a covered front porch, with the outdoor BBQ, picnic area and cozy fire pit with a view of the beach .
Our private parking area is spacious and can accommodate parking for your smaller watercrafts, snow mobiles or ATV. Please discuss this option prior to booking so we can ensure we are able to accommodate your needs.

Activities and Attractions.
Ontario, Canada is the land of freshwater lakes. Balm Beach is surrounded by quaint waterfront towns with beautiful beaches, marine harbours and parks. Each of these areas and towns have their own unique attractions to explore. A few examples follow.
It's just a two hour drive south to a cosmopolitan cityscape (Toronto and GTA) or three hour drive north to wilderness country or only an eight hour drive north to deep wilderness where your life is in danger if you don't know what you're doing, where if lost on foot weeks of searching might still not find civilization!
• The beach: - Balm Beach beach is within view from the cabin. Many accessories are supplied at Hunter's House for your beach adventure.
• Live beach bands: - Some events may include live entertainment right on the beach.
• Balm Beach Go Karts & Mini Putt: - For kids and adults. View their website here. (approx. 1min drive, 10min walk)
• Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre: - All about nature's wildlife in the area. Lots of activities. View their website here. (approx. 15min drive)

• 7 night rental, $3000.00 + $390 (taxes) = $3390.00 CAD - vs. $4,063 CAD on those other platforms
• 14 night rental, $5500.00 + $715 (taxes) = $6215.00 CAD - vs. $8,124 CAD on those other platforms
• 21 night rental, $8000.00 + $1040 (taxes) = $9040.00 CAD - vs. $12,187 CAD on those other platforms
• 28 night rental, $10000.00 + $1300 (taxes) = $11300.00 CAD - vs. $15,750 CAD on those other platforms
